The most relevant and popular Visas for Bali / Indonesia

Visit Visa – VoA (Visa on Arrival) B1-B4 (Tourist Visa)

30 days (extendable to 60 days)

Travel Purpose: Tourism, Family Visit, Transit, Social Visit, Business Meetings, Purchase Goods, Volunteers.

Citizens of 90+ Countries can get a simple Visit Visa (also known as visa on arrival or VoA / eVoA), which applies to the majority of international tourist visiting Bali / Indonesia.

Visit Visa 211A (Tourist Visa)

60 days (extendable to 180 days)

Travel Purpose: Tourism, Family Visit, Social Visit, Business Meetings, Purchase Goods, Volunteers.

Mandatory for foreigners from countries that do NOT QUALIFY for the Visa on Arrival. Suitable for anyone who intends to stay longer than 60 days. The 211A Visa can be extended twice (60 days each), without having to leave the country.

Multiple Entry Visa D1 / D2

1 & 2 years

Travel Purpose: Tourism, Family Visit, Business Meetings, Purchase Goods.

Travelers can enter into Indonesia as often as needed, however maximum stay for each visit is 60 days.

Pre-Investment Multiple Entry Visa D12

1 & 2 years

Purpose of Stay: Intention to start a Business or Investment.

Enter into Indonesia as often as needed, maximum stay for each visit is 180 days.

Retirement Visa / KITAS E33E & F

1 & 5 years

Purpose of Retirement: Foreigners at the age of 60+. Minimum income and/or deposit of funds in state own bank required.

Remote Worker Visa E33G (KITAS)

1 year

For foreigners who work for a company registered in a foreign country but lives in Indonesia. You need to have an employment contract with a company outside of Indonesia and proof a salary of min. USD 60k / year.

Investment KITAS – Shareholder KITAS E28A

2 years

For foreigners who are shareholders of a local company (PT PMA). Minimum capital required.

Working KITAS, Employment Visa E23

6 months to 1 year

Purpose of being employed in Indonesia. The company who hires will be the sponsor / guarantor.
