In Penatahan there is a hot spring on the banks of the YehHo River, namely
Penatahan Hot Spring. Spring water contains sulfur, potassium and sodium and is therefore very curative for skin diseases. The source is 9 private bathrooms and two swimming pools. Batukaru Temple, one of the six Sad Kahyangan (holiest temples) in Bali, is located north of Penatahan. This temple is very beautiful. The building is overgrown with weeds and moss, making it look like a temple that could
have appeared straight out of a movie.
